Senior Software Engineer - .NET, C#, WPF

This role combines hands-on software development with project ownership, client engagement, and solution design. You will contribute to architecture decisions, lead technical discussions, support customer implementations, and help deliver high-quality applications built on the CORE platform. Technologies include .NET, C#, WPF, Xamarin Forms, MVVM, XAML, XML, and JSON.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of software development experience using .NET/C# for Windows, desktop, and mobile applications.
- Strong expertise with Microsoft .NET Framework and C#.
- Experience working through the full software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of Xamarin or WPF.
- Experience developing POS solutions for counters, kiosks, or handheld devices.
- Experience with at least one CORE platform, including Essential, ECP7, or Riposte Application.
- Experience with at least three peripherals such as scanners, CDUs, receipt printers, or label printers.
- Experience supporting workflows including payment, mailing, receipts, and PUDO.
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- Must be able to meet security clearance requirements.
- Experience with .NET Core.
- Knowledge of PCL and Shared Code architectures.
- Strong experience with WPF, MVVM, and XAML.
- Experience developing Xamarin Forms applications for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and UWP.
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to staying current with emerging technologies.
Daily Responsibilities
- 100% Hands On
- Develop and extend software features for customer solutions built on the CORE platform.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Write and maintain unit tests.
- Take technical ownership of assigned customer projects.
- Lead client reviews, demonstrations, and project presentations.
- Assist with the architecture and design of new features and application enhancements.
- Perform application performance tuning and optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards.
- Mentor and support other members of the development team.
- Make changes to the CORE framework when required and serve as a subject matter expert for selected peripherals and workflows.
