Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Integration Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade cloud integration solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus, EDI, and B2B integrations.

The candidate will be responsible for defining integration architecture, developing scalable integration patterns, leading technical teams, and enabling secure communication between cloud-based and on-premises applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement secure, scalable integration solutions using:
• Azure API Management (APIM)
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Functions
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Event Grid
• Azure Event Hubs
• Azure Integration Account
• Define integration patterns and best practices for real-time, batch, asynchronous, and event-driven communications.
• Design and implement API gateway strategies using APIM, including:
• Routing
• Throttling
• Caching
• Transformation
• Security policies
• Develop and customize APIM policies and integration solutions using C# and JavaScript where required.
• Utilize Azure Functions for lightweight custom processing, business logic, and integration workloads.
• Design and implement event-driven architectures using Event Grid, Event Hubs, Azure Functions, and Service Bus.
• Design and implement EDI workflows for B2B integrations using X12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Work with integration protocols such as AS2 and SFTP.
• Define and implement enterprise integration patterns including:
• Publish/Subscribe
• Request/Reply
• Asynchronous Messaging
• Event-driven integration
• Establish API and integration security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and other industry-standard security mechanisms.
• Ensure integration solutions meet security, compliance, availability, scalability, and governance requirements.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, developers, DevOps teams, and infrastructure teams.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to integration developers and DevOps teams.
• Review technical designs and ensure adherence to architecture and development standards.
• Design highly available and fault-tolerant integration solutions.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for integration applications and infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation, including solution architecture, interface contracts, integration specifications, and operational runbooks.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in system integration, solution architecture, or related technical roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services.
• Strong expertise in:
• Azure API Management (APIM)
• Azure Logic Apps
• Azure Functions
• Azure Event Grid
• Azure Event Hubs
• Azure Service Bus
• Azure Integration Account
• Strong experience with EDI and B2B integration.
• Hands-on experience with X12 and/or EDIFACT.
• Experience with AS2 and SFTP protocols.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services.
• Strong understanding of JSON and XML.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and JWT.
• Experience with C# and/or JavaScript for scripting, custom policies, data transformation, and serverless development.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
• Experience designing microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, scalability, and high availability.
• Excellent communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure certifications such as:
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Azure Developer Associate
• Experience working with enterprise-scale cloud integration environments.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premises integration.
• Experience leading integration development teams.
• Knowledge of API lifecycle management and enterprise API governance.
