Controller

A growing, private equity-backed healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead its accounting and financial reporting function. This is a hands-on leadership role partnering closely with the CFO and senior leadership as the organization continues to grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close
• Oversee GL, reconciliations, AP, payroll accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting
• Manage multi-entity accounting, intercompany activity, and consolidations
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
• Coordinate external audits and support tax reporting
• Oversee cash reporting and working-capital activities
• Drive accounting process improvement, automation, and standardization
• Support integrations of acquired businesses
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Partner with FP&A and Operations on budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong month-end close, GL, financial reporting, and internal controls background
• NetSuite experience
• Prior accounting team leadership experience
• Experience in healthcare or another multi-location environment preferred
• PE-backed or acquisitive company experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA preferred
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and advanced Excel skills
