Job Description
You may have been working as a Senior Software Engineer in Test, Senior Test Engineer or Senior Test Analyst who is confident in their ability performing manual test but also enjoy conducting automation testing.
You'll be part of an agile team helping our clients achieve their business transformation goals by identifying requirements, developing solutions and providing ongoing guidance and advice in test.
You May Also Get Involved With
- Defining and executing test strategies, plans and scripts
- Accurate recording and monitoring of issues
- Providing support to the development of scrum teams to automate tests to guide development
- Reviewing test environments and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
- Providing test estimates
- Professional experience in some the following technologies Java, Selenium, Cucumber BDD, REST Assured, BrowserStack, Postman/Bruno, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps (sprint backlogs, pipelines, test plans), GIT, YAML, JSON, OpenText Web Inspect, JMeter
- Highly skilled in creating, maintaining and peer reviewing test automation code, preferably in Java
- Previous working experience supporting, contributing to and enhancing extensive Java-based Selenium test frameworks.
- Strong API test automation skills
- Experience with performance testing using tools such as JMeter
- Knowledge of security testing techniques & tooling, and an awareness of threat reports such as OWASP Top 10
- Experience with BDD (Behaviour-Driven Development) software development methodology.
- Excellent knowledge and skills in software testing & industry best practices
- Working experience with Agile Scrum, collaborating with the team for backlog refinement and ability to estimate testing activities for sprint planning
- Working experience of CI/CD, and how it integrates with testing practices
- Experienced with the management of defects, identifying, debugging, and working with the team to resolve them.
- Candidates must be SC Cleared*
