POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced MFA/IAM Technical Lead to support the rollout, ongoing operations, and enhancement of a global Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) environment.

This position will serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for MFA, Identity & Access Management (IAM), authentication technologies, access management, and IT security. The role will support a global authentication platform across multiple departments and locations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting enterprise authentication and access management environments, troubleshooting complex issues, providing Level 3 support, working with technical teams and external suppliers, and supporting system enhancements, testing, and deployment activities.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Support and maintain a global Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) environment.
• Serve as a technical lead and subject matter expert for MFA, IAM, authentication, access management, and IT security initiatives.
• Support medium to large technical initiatives as directed by the Product Owner and Manager.
• Provide technical consultation on authentication, access management, IAM, and IT security topics.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and develop work orders for external suppliers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex MFA-related incidents and service requests.
• Provide Level 3 support for authentication platforms, applications, and related processes.
• Escalate complex issues to global support teams when necessary and coordinate resolution.
• Support the integrity, security, scalability, and ongoing enhancement of authentication systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and support documentation.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Postman.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Support automated testing and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain test plans and testing procedures.
• Follow established development, testing, documentation, and security standards.
• Work with technical teams and stakeholders to identify issues, requirements, and opportunities for system improvements.
• Support the implementation and enhancement of authentication and access management solutions.
• Research technical issues and identify appropriate solutions.
• Participate in technical discussions and provide subject matter expertise when needed.
• Work in a global IT environment and coordinate with teams in other locations as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience working with MFA, IAM, authentication, access management, or related IT security technologies.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise IT systems.
• Experience providing Level 3 technical support.
• Experience troubleshooting complex technical incidents and service requests.
• Experience working with authentication and access control solutions.
• Experience analyzing technical requirements and supporting technical initiatives.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation and procedures.
• Experience developing or executing test plans, test scripts, unit testing, or integration testing.
• Ability to work with technical teams, business partners, and external suppliers.
• Experience working in a collaborative enterprise IT environment.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Postman.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Experience with OpenText Advanced Authentication or a similar enterprise authentication platform.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale or global IT environments.
• Experience with IAM platforms, authentication technologies, or access management solutions.
• Experience supporting automated deployment processes.
• Experience working with global IT support teams.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in:

Computer Science

Information Technology

Information Systems

Cybersecurity

Computer Engineering

Related technical field

Equivalent relevant IT experience may be considered in place of a degree, based on client requirements.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Approximately 40% onsite / 60% remote
• 2 days per week onsite in the Greenville, South Carolina area
• Schedule may change based on business needs
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Extensive computer and technical system use
• Occasional work in a manufacturing environment
• Occasional travel to other company locations may be required
• Overtime or on-call support may occasionally be required
• Protective equipment may be required when working in or walking through production areas
