Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise software applications for Windows platforms, with a focus on performance, security, reliability, and scalability. The role involves contributing to architectural decisions, delivering features end-to-end, resolving complex production issues, and providing technical collaboration within the development team.
Responsibilities
· Design, develop, test and maintain production-grade software using C#, WPF and .NET.
· Contribute to technical architecture and design decisions, including defining interfaces, patterns and technical solutions.
· Deliver features end-to-end, from requirements refinement and estimation through implementation, testing, deployment and post-release support.
· Troubleshoot and resolve complex defects and production issues across applications, services, integrations and Windows environments.
· Ensure software quality through code reviews, automated testing, observability and secure development practices.
· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
· Mentor and support other engineers through design reviews, knowledge sharing and technical guidance.
· Leverage AI-assisted development tools and engineering workflows while maintaining high standards for code quality, security and governance.
Requirements
· Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience.
· Strong hands-on experience with C#, WPF and .NET in production environments.
· Experience developing Windows deployment software or Windows application deployment solutions.
· Experience configuring and troubleshooting network services such as DHCP, PXE, proxy servers and CDNs.
· Solid understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, APIs, asynchronous programming, data access and integration patterns.
· Proven ability to deliver complex features from design through production support.
· Experience diagnosing and resolving software issues using logs, metrics, traces, profilers and root-cause analysis techniques.
· Strong quality mindset, including automated testing, code reviews, source control and CI/CD practices.
· Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL and data modelling.
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
· Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub or similar development lifecycle tools.
· Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
· Working schedule: 3-4 hours of daily overlap with the US team, specifically in the California time zone (Pacific Time).
Nice to Have
· Experience with BIOS, Windows Registry, drive partitioning, Windows PE and other system-level Windows technologies.
· Experience developing enterprise SaaS platforms, endpoint management solutions, cybersecurity products, IT operations software or automation platforms.
· Knowledge of Windows internals, PowerShell and Microsoft cloud technologies.
· Experience with distributed systems, messaging platforms, REST APIs, authentication and authorization frameworks.
· Experience developing deployment solutions for macOS.
· Experience with large-scale orchestration systems and third-party integrations.
· Experience using AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows in production environments.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
· Demonstrated experience designing, building and supporting enterprise-grade software solutions.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical excellence and business priorities.
· Experience working across the full software development lifecycle (derived from the role expectations and required experience)
