Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Support Engineer – .NET, ADF with strong experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, and .NET. The ideal candidate will have a combination of production support and development experience and should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment involving incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and minor application enhancements.
The candidate must be willing to provide weekday and weekend production support during PST hours and collaborate effectively with offshore and onsite teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide production support for applications and data solutions built using Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, and .NET.
- Troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and implement effective resolution steps.
- Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring and critical issues.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive Known Error Database (KEDB) for recurring and unique incidents.
- Collaborate with and guide offshore teams on incident management, troubleshooting, and support processes.
- Analyze application and data-related issues across ADF, AAS, and .NET components.
- Work on minor development enhancements, bug fixes, and application improvement stories.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and reusable code following development best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve technical issues.
- Monitor production environments and proactively identify potential issues.
- Document technical solutions, troubleshooting procedures, and support processes.
- Provide production support during scheduled weekday and weekend PST shifts as required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong experience with Azure Analysis Services (AAS).
- Strong development experience with .NET / C#.
- Experience in production application support and incident management.
- Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Ability to work effectively with onsite and offshore teams.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
