Lead Software Engineer - Fluent/Native German Speaker

We’re looking for an experienced software engineer who not only writes good code but also wants to take on technical responsibility and help shape an engineering team. At SEDIWORK, you’ll build software for the planning and development of medical teams. You’ll work hands-on with our clients on our product while also providing technical leadership. Responsibilities What You’ll Do - You’ll develop software yourself and solve complex technical problems. - You’ll design the architecture and make key technology decisions. - You’ll provide technical guidance to other developers, review code, and ensure high engineering quality. - Together with the product team, you’ll translate customer requirements into sound technical solutions. - You’ll take ownership of projects from the initial idea through to production deployment at the customer’s site. - You’ll help us further develop our team, processes, and technology. Qualifications What We’re Looking For You’re a strong software engineer with several years of experience who wants to take on more responsibility—or you’re already a Tech Lead. You think pragmatically, enjoy hands-on work, and are eager to take on a leadership role without stepping away from engineering. We value technical depth, ownership, and sound decision-making more than titles or perfect career paths. Our Tech Stack TypeScript · Vue.js · Node.js · PostgreSQL · Cloud · Docker - AI/Optimization for complex planning problems You don’t need to be an expert in every technology in our stack just yet. What’s more important are strong software engineering fundamentals, an understanding of architecture, and the ability to quickly get up to speed on new topics.
