Junior Graphic Designer

Location: Gloucester (Office-Based)
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (45-minute lunch) with flexibility to work 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join a successful and growing business within the home improvement and interiors industry. Working with an extensive portfolio of products across a range of well-established brands, you'll play a key role in creating engaging marketing materials that support a diverse customer base.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone at the beginning of their design career who is eager to develop their skills, bring fresh creative ideas, and gain hands-on experience within a fast-paced commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce creative artwork for product displays, showrooms and retail environments.
  • Create marketing collateral for trade shows, exhibitions and promotional events.
  • Design and produce mailshots, posters, social media graphics and digital marketing content.
  • Support the creation of inspirational look books and product-focused marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with exhibition stand designers and external suppliers to deliver high-quality promotional materials.
  • Coordinate display equipment and marketing resources for sales representatives.
  • Work from creative briefs to deliver effective and engaging visual communications.
  • Produce artwork for both print and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with display-related projects and become involved in larger exhibition initiatives as the role develops.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a graphic design, marketing design or creative marketing role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Experience creating artwork for both print and digital applications.
  • An understanding of print production processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
