𝘚𝘰𝘧𝘵𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵, 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘔𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 & 𝘔𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 (𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵-𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦, 𝘙𝘦𝘮𝘰𝘵𝘦)

Karax is a growing AI company building advanced polymer aging and degradation simulation software for durability-critical industries. We're looking for a part-time Coding Expert to help drive predictive maintenance and machine learning capabilities across our customer support infrastructure.

You'll work closely with our internal software development team and external partners to bring ML-driven predictive maintenance tools into our aging and degradation modules, while helping optimize how we support customers remotely.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗼:

• Realize predictive maintenance and machine learning capabilities as part of software projects
• Drive the set-up of a cloud platform (MS Azure) to monitor customer system health
• Ensure appropriate log-file reporting for improved remote support effectiveness
• Coordinate with related functions across the company to leverage existing solutions and ensure harmonization
• Identify requirements and initiate support-effectiveness improvements through close interaction with the remote support and field service teams
• Collaborate closely with Hardware and Software R&D to identify and realize predictive maintenance opportunities
• Actively participate in ongoing software development projects
• Work with key customers to ensure usability and adoption of new tools

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴:

• Completed studies in systems engineering, software development, or a natural sciences field
• Experience in software development projects
• Experience implementing predictive maintenance and/or machine learning algorithms
• Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
• Familiarity with modern development tools (Git, Maven, etc.)
• Experience with the MS Azure framework
• Excellent communication skills
• A team player and networker
• Ability to innovate and think outside the box
• High commitment and a systematic, independent way of working

Logistics:

Remote, with Rhode Island residency preferred (not required)
