Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Lead Coordinator

Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)

Schedule: 5/40

Location: Port Neches, TX

This opportunity focuses on leading quality assurance, product safety, validation, and audit activity within a chemical manufacturing environment. The role has a strong impact on Quality Management System performance, regulatory compliance, continuous improvement, and the maintenance of standards such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, and EFfCI. This position will suit professionals with experience in quality systems, internal and external audits, and cross-functional quality leadership.

Ensure that the quality and safety requirements of the products and production processes are met, adhering to standards and policies (ISO 22716, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, RSPO, BRCGS, EXCiPACT, Kosher, Halal, etc.).

Required Experience

  • Experience within chemical manufacturing.
  • Experience leading or managing quality assurance and quality management activities.
  • Experience planning, conducting, and managing internal and external audits.
  • Experience investigating non-conformances, supporting root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions through to closure.
  • Experience supporting supplier qualification, supplier audits, and customer quality documentation.
  • Experience with validation programmes, including validation master plans, cleaning validation, CCP validation, and protocol development.

Required Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of GMP requirements and ISO standards.
  • Strong capability in Quality Management System and Food Safety Management System maintenance and improvement.
  • Ability to lead quality and product safety committees, management reviews, and cross-functional quality initiatives.
  • Ability to define and monitor KPIs with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Knowledge of risk analysis methodologies including FMEA and HACCP.
  • Ability to manage document control, audit reporting, training delivery, and follow-up of quality metrics.

Required Certifications

  • BRCGS certification can be considered.
