What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain our globally used software for test systems in C#, including controlling high-frequency measuring devices via GPIB, LAN, and USB, and storing measurement results in databases for future evaluations.
- Develop new software to interface with emerging test hardware
- Continuously analyze requirements and perform necessary adjustments
- Drive product and process improvements
- Design and oversee the architecture of complex software for test systems, ensuring they meet business requirements and are scalable, maintainable, and secure.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks for the software development process
- Drive interface requirements and definitions to other software components from other departments
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering or a related qualification
- Proficiency in C# programming languages, knowledge in C++ would be beneficial
- Expertise in software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with DevOps practices, pipeline handling, and continuous integration/continuous testing (CI/CD)
- Basic understanding of radio frequency technology is a plus
- Team collaboration skills, with high social competence
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and time management abilities
- Structured, result-oriented work approach
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in written and spoken German
