Software Engineer

Overview

This is a Software Engineer role focused on building and supporting scalable backend applications, APIs, and systems within a fintech environment. The engineer will work primarily with C#, JavaScript, and SQL, partnering with business and technology teams across the full development lifecycle while contributing to architecture, CI/CD, testing, and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs from conception through deployment.
• Create technical specifications and collaborate with stakeholders for requirements gathering.
• Deliver high-quality software solutions through individual and team contributions.
• Implement modern architectural designs to enhance existing systems and frameworks.
• Support CI/CD pipeline development and automated testing suites.
• Optimize development workflows and system functionality through cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain code quality standards and participate in peer code reviews.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year, preferred 3+ years, of backend software development experience.
• Expertise in C# and JavaScript programming languages.
• Strong command of SQL programming and database engineering principles.
• Experience with scalable systems, API development, and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Knowledge of financial services or fintech environments is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
