- Workload: 50% to 80%. - 100% possible if open to further activities in software development or other activities if no software development background
- Working Model: Hybrid working model with 1-2 days onsite per week depending on workload.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master (m/f/d) to join a highly skilled software development team working on next-generation diagnostic systems within a regulated medical technology environment.
You will support an Agile software team that develops real-time control software for innovative diagnostic instruments. The team works within a SAFe Agile Release Train (ART) and develops software that interfaces directly with hardware components including mechatronic, thermal, fluidic and optical subsystems.
This role is ideal for a proactive Scrum Master who enjoys coaching technical teams, enabling continuous improvement and fostering high-performing Agile environments. The successful candidate is comfortable working closely with software engineers developing low-level and hardware-related systems rather than purely web-based or cloud-native applications.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as Scrum Master and Agile coach for a software development team.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and drive effective team collaboration.
- Help remove impediments and resolve blockers impacting delivery.
- Foster transparency, accountability and continuous improvement.
- Support self-organising teams in planning, estimation and execution activities.
- Coach team members using servant leadership principles.
- Facilitate conflict resolution and encourage constructive communication.
- Collaborate within a SAFe Agile Release Train environment.
- Promote the effective use of modern AI-supported development tools.
- Ensure compliance with established development processes and quality standards.
- Contribute to process optimisation and operational excellence initiatives.
- Support documentation activities required within a regulated development environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Scrum Master within software development organisations.
- Certified Scrum Master qualification such as CSM or PSM I.
- Strong knowledge of Scrum principles, Agile methodologies and servant leadership.
- Proven experience facilitating Agile teams and driving continuous improvement.
- Practical understanding of Git and GitHub workflows.
- Experience supporting development teams with build environments and software delivery processes.
- Basic knowledge of C++ development.
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong documentation and organisational skills.
- Experience working within structured development environments.
- Fluency in English.
