In This Role You Will
- Work with operating technicians to collect data and learn manufacturing process
- Architect, administer and support network infrastructure (Terminal Servers, Thin Clients, Ethernet Switches)
- Design, implement and support technical solutions in MES and SCADA software
- Develop, document and strengthen IT standards
- Completely manage projects from scope development, capital appropriation, implementation, commissioning and verification
- Coordinate activities of contractors, hourly technicians and other resources
- Research feasibility of long-term plant upgrade initiatives
- At least Sophomore standing in Computer Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field of study
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and operating systems
- Experience with one or more programming languages, such as Python, C++, SQL, VBA, or C#
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate a willingness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Availability to work full-time during the internship period
- Ability to meet all safety expectations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), following safe work practices, and adhering to good manufacturing practices (GMP)
