Join a fast-paced, collaborative team dedicated to developing scalable digital and control solutions for HVAC and Building Automation Systems. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will work directly alongside senior engineers, receive dedicated mentorship, and gain hands-on experience. This position offers a hybrid work environment based out of our White Bear Lake, MN office, giving you the perfect blend of team connection and flexibility.
What You Will Do
- Write and maintain clean code using Python, C++, or JavaScript.
- Develop new features for controls and digital platforms and service tools under guidance from senior developers.
- Debug and resolve technical issues across the software development lifecycle.
- Write automated unit tests to ensure high code quality and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Product, Hardware, UX/UI, and QA.
- Present an internship capstone project to engineering leadership at completion.
- Current enrollment in a degree program in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Solid foundational knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming language through coursework or personal projects.
- Basic familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical teamwork.
