Job Title: Oracle Systems Analyst

Job Duration: 6 months contract-to-hire

Job Location: Hybrid – St. Paul, MN or Fort Worth, TX

Position Overview

  • We are seeking a hands-on Systems Analyst with Oracle Cloud experience to support a growing portfolio of Oracle initiatives within a fast-moving, evolving business environment.
  • This individual will take ownership of specific Oracle initiatives from implementation through long-term support, working closely with business subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, and third-party consultants.
  • This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working on the system—not simply working in it.
  • The organization is still building many of its Oracle capabilities and associated business processes from the ground up. The Systems Analyst will play an important role in defining requirements, structuring data, testing and implementing solutions, supporting new functionality, and establishing sustainable processes for the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take end-to-end ownership of assigned Oracle Cloud initiatives, developing deep expertise in the associated processes, data, and functionality.
  • Partner with business subject matter experts to gather, document, and translate business needs into clear system and functional requirements.
  • Support the configuration and implementation of Oracle Cloud modules and functionality.
  • Help establish appropriate data structures, data-entry processes, imports, maintenance procedures, and reporting capabilities within Oracle.
  • Work alongside third-party Oracle consultants during solution design and implementation, then assume ongoing ownership of the solution once consulting support concludes.
  • Coordinate and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), including test planning, validation, issue identification, and resolution.
  • Support data entry, migration, validation, and other activities required to successfully deploy new Oracle functionality.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, submit and manage service requests, and support ongoing system maintenance and enhancements.
  • Manage Oracle Cloud quarterly enhancements and releases, including moving functionality into development environments, coordinating UAT, and supporting user training and adoption.
  • Help introduce and operationalize Oracle modules that the organization owns but has not yet fully implemented or utilized.
  • Partner with business teams to establish new processes where formal workflows or structures do not yet exist.
  • Support reporting and analytics initiatives, including the implementation of Oracle/Fusion-based reporting capabilities used to create dashboards and provide visibility into business performance.
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to help business users successfully adopt new functionality.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve usability, efficiency, data quality, and business processes within the Oracle environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience supporting Oracle Cloud applications in a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, ERP Analyst, or similar capacity.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Oracle implementations, configurations, enhancements, or module rollouts.
  • Experience gathering and defining business and system requirements.
  • Experience working with enterprise data, including data structures, imports, maintenance, validation, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with UAT, system testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business subject matter experts.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own an initiative or functional area from requirements through implementation and ongoing support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to operate effectively when processes or requirements are not yet fully defined.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.
  • Experience supporting Oracle quarterly releases, enhancements, or Redwood-related functionality.
  • Experience implementing or supporting new Oracle modules rather than solely maintaining mature, established environments.
  • Experience with ERP reporting, dashboards, analytics, or Oracle/Fusion reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, construction, or project-based environment is beneficial but not required.
  • Experience in a startup, high-growth, transformation, or greenfield environment where processes and systems are being established from the ground up.
