Position Overview
- Job Title: System Engineer / Administrator - Cloud (Azure)
- Department: Information Technology
- Manage and secure Windows Server environments and cloud infrastructure.
- Administer Microsoft Azure cloud resources, virtual machines, and storage.
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) for identity and access management.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security logs using monitoring tools.
- Troubleshoot system errors, network issues, and user access problems.
- Implement group policies, security baselines, and regular software patching.
- Manage multi-factor authentication (MFA), conditional access policies, and user provisioning.
- Strong experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory as a foundation with a recent and deep dive into Azure
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and resource management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID administration, single sign-on (SSO), and identity synchronization.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell for automation.
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP) and firewall rules.
- Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices.
