Service Engineer

Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client on their search for an Service Engineer, for a remote, HIGH TRAVEL role (2 weeks training will take place in their Newnan GA facility.)

They are a global manufacturer offering a comprehensive range of specialist products for the airline/aviation industry, tailored to the needs of international partners and are expanding rapidly in the US – plenty of room for growth!

This role is fully remote with extensive U.S. travel – must be based anywhere within 2-3 hours of a major airport.

Experience with 24V electrical systems, sensors, relays, controls, and electronics required. Extensive 480V experience is NOT REQUIRED, but highly preferred and will give you a huge advantage over other candidates!

Compensation: $28.00-35.00/hour + OT and overnight travel rates

What You Will Do:

Responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of company equipment on-site at customer locations. Will be responsible for leading critical power projects and therefore must have had experience in personnel management and leadership. Must be customer focused at all times, prepared to work within and as part of a team, be able to interact with colleagues, management at all levels, clients and other trades in a professional and tactful manner, and in doing so present a positive image of the Company.

• Maintain and service company product range; fix any problems that are within warranty. Report any warranty issues back to office.
• Provide supervisory and technical support to colleagues and communicate with staff at all levels.
• Ensure that follow-up work requirements are referred back to the appropriate staff to enable necessary action and recommendations to clients.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, consistent with client and company expectations.
• Attend all training courses and meetings as required.
• Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues, and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company at all times.
• Observe and adhere to company health & safety guidelines and contribute to a healthy and safe working environment.
• Adherence to ISO 9001 Quality management system; adherence to company health and safety procedures. Must maintain a clean and tidy works area.

Education and Work Experience:

• At least 4 years of Active Duty US Military experience required
• This is a client facing role – MUST be comfortable with and focused on customer service!!
• Prior Management experience and Leadership are key!
• Looking for a Strong maintenance technician that can use a multi-meter; will be working with 24V electrical systems, sensors, relays, controls, and electronics. This is not a high-voltage industrial maintenance position.
• Extensive 480V experience IS NOT REQUIRED, but preferred
