Senior Network Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Engineer to support and improve a large enterprise network environment. This is a hands-on role focused on data center networking, Cisco ACI, software-defined networking, network security, and monitoring.
What You’ll Do
- Design, implement, and support Cisco Nexus and ACI environments, including VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs/ESGs, L3Out, and contracts.
- Support ACI integrations with Red Hat OpenShift VMM and Cilium/Isovalent.
- Work with Cisco Catalyst and Software-Defined Access (SDA).
- Administer Cisco ISE, including TACACS+, authentication/authorization, and endpoint profiling.
- Support Zero Trust and identity-based network segmentation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot networks using tools such as ThousandEyes, Cisco Cyber Vision, and DNA Spaces.
- Troubleshoot complex L2/L3 issues involving VLANs, OSPF, BGP, STP, multicast, and QoS.
- Design and support Palo Alto Networks security solutions.
- Create network diagrams, documentation, standards, runbooks, and asset inventories.
- Support network upgrades, modernization, procurement, and other large-scale technology initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience working with Cisco networking.
- Strong hands-on production experience with Cisco ACI.
- Solid understanding of ACI concepts including VRFs, BDs, EPGs, ESGs, L3Out, and contracts.
- Experience with OpenShift VMM and Cilium/Isovalent integrations.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst, SDA, and Cisco ISE.
- Knowledge of network monitoring and visibility tools such as ThousandEyes, Cyber Vision, and DNA Spaces.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, QoS, and network security.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- CCNP Data Center, CCNP Enterprise, CCIE, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with container networking and virtualization.
- Knowledge of NIST frameworks or government cybersecurity requirements.
- Experience with Python, Ansible, or REST APIs for network automation.
- Large enterprise or government networking experience.
- Palo Alto Networks certifications such as PCCSA or PCNSA.
