Enterprise Application AdministratorPosition Purpose:The Enterprise Applications & Integration Developer designs, develops, implements, and supports technology solutions that connect enterprise systems, automate business processes, improve access to information, and increase operational efficiency. The position partners with business and technology teams to identify opportunities, translate business needs into secure and supportable solutions, and own those solutions throughout their lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support integrations between core business applications and third-party platforms.
- Develop and maintain APIs, interfaces, scheduled processes, file exchanges, and data transformation routines.
- Use technologies such as SOAP, REST, GraphQL APIs, Python, SQL, and appropriate low code platforms.
- Maintain source control, technical documentation, testing procedures, deployment plans, and support instructions.
- Monitor production solutions and resolve failures, data-quality issues, performance concerns, and integration errors.
- Ensure solutions follow security, change management, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and prioritize a backlog containing both assigned business requests and proactively identified opportunities.
- Reduce dependence on manual processes and technical debt.
- (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
- Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
- Strong relational data experience
- SOAP, REST, and GraphQL API integration experience
- Proficiency in Python, Powershell, or a comparable language
- Experience developing and supporting business applications
- Familiarity with authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, certificates, service accounts, and API tokens
- Git or another source-control platform
- Production troubleshooting and monitoring experience
- Ability to gather requirements from nontechnical departments
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience in a regulated or security-conscious environment
