Agentic AI & Backend Engineer (Python | Java | Kafka | AWS)

We're looking for a Senior Agentic AI & Backend Engineer to help design and build intelligent agent-based solutions that combine modern AI capabilities with scalable enterprise-grade backend architectures.

In this role, you'll develop AI agents, orchestration workflows, RAG solutions, and distributed backend services that power real business outcomes. You'll work at the intersection of Generative AI, Agentic Systems, Cloud, and Event-Driven Architecture, collaborating with a highly skilled international team.

What you'll do

• Design and build AI agents, tools, agent loops, and orchestration workflows
• Develop RAG solutions, prompt engineering strategies, and evaluation frameworks
• Build APIs and integrations using OpenAPI standards
• Develop scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB
• Create cloud-native solutions on AWS and Kubernetes
• Contribute to operational dashboards and UI components using React and TypeScript

What we're looking for

• Strong Python experience, including asyncio and async/await
• Hands-on experience with AI agents, RAG, prompt engineering, and LLM integrations
• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot expertise
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
• MongoDB experience
• AWS and Kubernetes knowledge
• Understanding of distributed systems and reliability patterns

Nice to have

• MCP (Model Context Protocol)
• AWS Bedrock, AgentCore, Strands, LangGraph or similar frameworks
• Experience building enterprise AI platforms
