• The Cloud domain refers to the area within Information Technology that focuses on the delivery of computing services—such as servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence—provided as a service. Examples are AWS, GCS, and Azure. • Lead design, implement, and manage large-scale cloud infrastructure, including Kubernetes platforms on Azure and other public cloud providers using K8s custom operators, Controllers.
• Ensure scalability, security, and resilience.
• Partner closely with Cybersecurity and enterprise architects to define cloud best practices. Shape and promote cloud architecture that aligns with business goals and industry standards.
• Serve as a technical mentor to the engineering team, providing guidance on best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies in cloud computing and DevOps using Go (Golang), Kubernetes APIs, controller-runtime, and Operator SDK/Kubebuilder.
• Spearhead initiatives to automate infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies. Champion innovation by adopting and implementing cutting-edge cloud technologies.
• Oversee the lifecycle of cloud solutions and platforms, ensuring they remain updated and aligned with industry standards and organizational requirements.
• Effectively communicate product strategy, technical changes, and cloud platform roadmaps to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Significant experience in requirements analysis and use case development, with a thorough understanding of software development life cycles, development and technology tools, testing methodologies, and requirements gathering
• Monitor cloud systems for availability, performance, and cost efficiency. Implement strategies to optimize resource usage, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve cloud environments.
• Diagnose and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues. Provide expert support and conduct root cause analysis to address critical incidents, taking preventive actions to avoid future occurrences.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, supporting business-critical applications and systems.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 
• 9+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training 
• Airline Industry experience 

• Technical expertise in the following technologies: 
• Programming Languages: Java, Python, C#, Javascript/Typescript, Golang 
• Frameworks: Spring/SpringBoot, FastAPI 
• Front End Technologies: Angular/React 
• Deployment Technologies: Kubernetes, Docker 
• Source Control: GitHub, Azure DevOps 
• CICD: GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps 
• Data management: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis 
• Integration/APIs Technologies: Kafka, REST, GraphQL 
• Infrastructure as code: Terraform, YAML 
• GitOps: Argo CD, Fleet 
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes 
• Cloud networking and security in Azure and AWS
• Experience with DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including CI/CD and GitOps, and the ability to drive continuous improvement through automation and operational excellence.
• Ability to optimize solutions for security, performance, resiliency, reliability and cost efficiency.
• Exceptional ability to convey complex ideas verbally, in writing, in code, and through technical documentation and diagrams.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM, to lead and participate in cross-functional project teams.
• Skilled in mentoring and guiding junior engineers to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
