Job Title: System Analyst 6

Location: Lansing, MI-Only Locals

Duration: 1 year with extension possible

Responsibilities

• Install and configure systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments.
• Gather and document requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.
• Provide technical support for COTS (Custom Off the Shelf) packages for the Management and Budget side of DTMB.
• Perform system administrator assignments, including installing systems and application components and configuring them on Windows and Linux environments.
• Ensure application and infrastructure security following Federal, State and industry standards.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, and other technical areas to understand and execute projects and changes timely.
• Maintain various COTS applications and help configure changes as required for some SAAS products.
• Support Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities, and other application and server support duties.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience installing and configuring systems and application components on Windows and Linux environments.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience gathering and documenting requirements, researching and presenting options, analyzing and recommending solutions for both ongoing application changes and new efforts.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Windows Server administration (2016 and later).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with RHEL 7.0 and above.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Tomcat.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with IIS.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with MS SQL Management Studio.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Dynatrace/Similar debug tools.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with XML.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with PowerShell.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Azure DevOps.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Visio.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with SSO (SAML, OAuth, OpenID).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with network knowledge, including LAN/WAN.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with architecture, firewalls, IOT, etc.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, monitoring, networks, firewalls, architecture including diagraming, remediating vulnerabilities, and other application and server support duties.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience implementing and configuring applications in Azure Cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Azure services, containerization, and IAC.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Requirements

• Hybrid schedule; NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION.
• Must be onsite from day 1, two days a week.
• Local candidates only; must be located within 2 hours of Lansing, MI at the time of submission.
