Senior System Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced System Engineer to support and strengthen its enterprise infrastructure and cloud environment. This role combines hands-on Windows/Linux systems engineering with AWS cloud infrastructure, automation, security and technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments.
• Design, deploy and support secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Manage core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy.
• Implement and support AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda and VPC.
• Monitor system availability, performance, security and capacity.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, operating system, networking and cloud issues.
• Manage virtualization environments including VMware, Hyper-V or Sangfor.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and administration using Terraform, CloudFormation and scripting.
• Support configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
• Implement system security controls, patches, backups and operational best practices.
• Collaborate with development, operations and other IT teams on infrastructure and cloud solutions.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, system configurations and operating procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong professional experience supporting Windows and/or Linux infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Good knowledge of Linux distributions such as Red Hat, Oracle Linux or Ubuntu.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V or Sangfor.
• Experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
• Scripting experience using PowerShell, Bash and/or Python.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capability.
