DevOps Engineer

A growing tech company in Flanders is looking for a senior Linux and DevOps engineer to help run and secure its infrastructure.

The company needs someone to manage its Linux server estate end-to-end - from provisioning and automation through to monitoring, security, and Kubernetes operations. It's a hands-on infrastructure role with real ownership, covering everything from day-to-day operations to compliance-driven improvements (the environment works toward ISO 27001 standards).

Responsibilities:

• Provisioning and maintaining Linux servers and VMs, with infrastructure-as-code and configuration management
• Keeping systems patched, monitored, and observable (metrics, logging, alerting)
• Managing core networking and security services (DNS, load balancing, VPN, identity/SSO, secrets management)
• Running and securing a Kubernetes platform, including policy enforcement, scanning, and compliance controls
• Maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting databases and web services
• Participating in on-call rotation and incident response

Your Profile

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Linux administration in production environments
• Strong experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Solid Kubernetes administration experience, including security and compliance practices
• Comfortable with monitoring/observability stacks and CI/CD pipelines
• Good documentation habits - this matters for audit readiness
• Fluent in English, Dutch a plus
