Software Engineer

An established financial services company is looking for an experienced software developer to join the team. The successful candidate will focus on the continuous evolution of workforce management solutions, creating intuitive interfaces and efficient processes for digital case processing. This role involves working within a cross-functional product team to build applications that support daily business operations.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain desktop and backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

• Implement modern frontend solutions utilizing React, JavaScript, and TypeScript

• Design and integrate REST APIs and microservices within a distributed architecture

• Conduct technical analysis of business requirements to implement sustainable software solutions

• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and quality management tools

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable technical qualification

• Professional experience in the development of business-critical software products or digital platforms

• Strong proficiency in Java development and modern web technologies including React

• Experience working within an agile Scrum environment and contributing to architectural standards

• Fluency in German and English to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
