DevOps Engineer

Role Description The DevOps Engineer will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to build, automate, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure. Daily responsibilities include designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud and on-premises environments, and using infrastructure as code tools to provision and configure systems. The role involves monitoring system performance, troubleshooting production issues, optimizing deployment workflows, and enforcing best practices for security, reliability, and cost efficiency. The DevOps Engineer will also contribute to improving development processes, documenting technical solutions, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to support product delivery and technology initiatives.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar platforms.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills in languages commonly used for DevOps automation (e.g., Python, Go, or shell scripting).
• Candidates should possess Continuous Integration skills, including experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Candidates should possess System Administration skills, with hands-on experience managing servers, networking basics, monitoring, and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Candidates should possess Linux skills, including command-line proficiency, performance tuning, and security hardening.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization/orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
