Day to Day

We are seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to lead the design and development of AI-powered capabilities within a Care Connect platform, a strategic care management and member engagement application that supports Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial populations by connecting care management, clinical, pharmacy, and member engagement workflows. This engineer will build intelligent solutions that leverage Generative AI, NLP, machine learning, and workflow automation to improve care coordination, personalize member interactions, automate the processing of clinical and member data from structured and unstructured sources, and provide decision support for care management teams. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience developing production-grade AI applications in Python and deploying scalable cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Run, and event-driven architectures. Responsibilities include designing AI-enabled services, integrating with healthcare APIs and enterprise platforms, implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, enforcing secure development practices through tools such as Snyk, and collaborating with product, engineering, data, and operational stakeholders to deliver highly available and compliant healthcare solutions. Candidates should have experience building and deploying LLM, RAG, NLP, or machine learning solutions in production environments, along with strong software engineering fundamentals and experience with microservices and API development. Healthcare payer experience is highly preferred, particularly in care management, population health, member engagement, case management, utilization management, Medicare, Medicaid, FHIR, or healthcare interoperability, while experience with Java and Spring Boot is a plus due to integrations with existing enterprise care management services.
