Senior Software Engineer

I'm hiring for a venture backed AI company in New York that's automating complex operational work for large healthcare organisations. Real product, real customers, and a lot of growth ahead.

You'd be building the core GenAI framework the rest of the engineering team builds AI agents on, and helping scale the AI applications already running in production.

What they're looking for:

• 7+ years building production APIs and backend data processing in Python
• Strong relational database design and data modelling
• Solid testing and CI/CD habits
• Observability experience (Datadog or similar)
• Genuine, hands on use of AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor or Copilot

Nice to have:

• Healthcare or other regulated industry experience
• Vector databases, Airflow or Dagster, SQS, Kinesis or Kafka
• Experience shipping user facing AI products Hybrid in NYC.
