Senior Full Stack Engineer/Tech Lead

About the role

As a Senior Full-stack Engineer at Going Cloud, you'll build the GenAI applications we deliver to enterprise clients and turn what you learn into reusable components and practices for the team.

What you'll do

• Build GenAI applications end to end, from backend APIs and agent services to web frontends.
• Implement agent workflows (e.g., LangGraph), tool integrations (e.g., MCP), RAG, and text-to-SQL features.
• Write specs before code and use AI coding tools to deliver reliable results you fully understand.
• Keep quality high with meaningful automated tests running in CI and careful code review.
• Design and maintain the cloud architecture of the applications you build on AWS, across containers and serverless, and work with our FDEs to ship them into client environments.
• Own the development environments and CI/CD pipelines for the services you build.
• Share ownership of the staging environments that mirror client setups, and step in on client deployments and on-site support when needed.
• Turn solutions into reusable modules, templates, and documentation for the team.
• Lead technical design and architecture decisions, and raise engineering standards across projects.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, shipping production applications.
• Track record of leading the design and delivery of complex features from spec to production.
• Proficient in Python and TypeScript, with depth in at least one (e.g., FastAPI, NestJS, React).
• Experience designing cloud architectures on AWS for production applications.
• Working knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and SQL.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications: prompt design, agents or tool calling, and evaluating output quality.
• Solid SDLC fundamentals; writes clean, testable code and makes practical design choices, applying principles like SOLID where they help.
• Comfortable with containers and CI/CD.
• Uses AI coding tools daily and reviews their output critically before it ships.
• Communicates clearly, works well across teams, and takes ownership of commitments.
• Curious and willing to try new technologies.
• Willing to occasionally work on-site at client locations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon Bedrock or other cloud LLM platforms.
• Guardrails and LLM evaluation.
• Enterprise or financial-services projects.
• Infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and client-side deployment experience.
• End-to-end testing.
