Senior Software Engineer | AI & Full Stack

📍 Bay Area | Hybrid

💰 Up to $260K base + Equity

I’m working with a fast-growing B2B SaaS company in the Bay Area looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team building and scaling customer-facing products.

This is a hands-on role for an engineer who is comfortable working across the stack, with particularly strong experience in Python and TypeScript.

What they’re looking for:

• Strong software engineering background with production experience using Python and TypeScript
• Experience building and scaling backend services, APIs and modern web applications
• Comfortable owning features from design and architecture through to production
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and engineering best practices
• Product-minded engineer who enjoys solving complex customer problems
• Experience working in fast-moving SaaS or technology environments

Nice to have:

• Around 12+ months of hands-on experience building with AI/LLMs
• Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and bringing RAG-based features into production
• Experience building AI agents / agentic workflows
• Exposure to LLM tooling, evaluation, orchestration and production AI systems

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who already has a strong Python + TypeScript foundation and wants to spend more of their time building AI-powered products and agentic systems.

Compensation: Up to $260K base + equity
