Experienced Middleware & Integration Engineer with strong administration and hands-on development knowledge across MuleSoft, Glueon, and Java Spring Boot.
The candidate will be responsible for administering and supporting middleware/integration platforms, monitoring production services, troubleshooting complex integration issues, implementing configuration changes, and developing or enhancing APIs and microservices
Glueon Administration & Support
- Administer and provide operational support for the Glueon platform/application ecosystem.
- Manage configuration, deployment, monitoring, access, connectivity, and platform-related operational activities.
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues using logs and monitoring information.
- Perform application/service restarts, deployment validation, health checks, and post-deployment verification.
- Support configuration changes and application enhancements as required.
- Coordinate with application development and infrastructure teams for major incidents and problem resolution.
- Maintain operational documentation, troubleshooting procedures, runbooks, and support knowledge articles.
- Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and support applications and microservices built using Java and Spring Boot.
- Analyze Java application logs, exceptions, API failures, memory/performance issues, and integration problems.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and microservices.
- Perform code-level troubleshooting and implement fixes for production defects.
- Support configuration management, application deployment, and environment-specific configurations.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, defect remediation, and application performance improvements.
- Work closely with integration teams to troubleshoot end-to-end application and API transaction flows
- Administer, configure, monitor, and support MuleSoft environments and applications across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
- Manage application deployments, configurations, environment properties, certificates, connectivity, and runtime components.
- Monitor APIs, integrations, application health, performance, logs, and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot failed transactions, connectivity issues, API errors, performance degradation, and production incidents.
- Support development and enhancement of MuleSoft APIs and integration flows.
- Perform API lifecycle management, versioning, deployment, and operational support.
- Suppo rt platform upgrades, patching, certificate renewals, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, database, network, and security teams for issue resolution
- Provide L2/L3 production support for middleware, integration, and Java-based applications.
- Monitor application availability, API transactions, batch/interface failures, and platform health.
- Perform Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management activities in accordance with ITIL processes.
- Participate in Major Incident Management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive action planning.
- Drive reduction of recurring incidents through automation and permanent fixes.
- Support planned maintenance, application releases, upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery exercises.
- Ensure compliance with established SLA, security, audit, and change-management requirements.
- Identify opportunities for operational automation, monitoring improvements, and service reliability enhancement
- SQL and relational database troubleshooting
- Linux/Unix administration knowledge
- Shell scripting / PowerShell
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, or equivalent
- Cloud exposure: AWS / Azure
- API security concepts including OAuth, SSL/TLS, certificates, and authentication
