Machine Learning Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to join our AI engineering team and contribute to the design, development, and deployment of AI-powered solutions. This is a hands-on role focused on building production-ready AI applications, including RAG solutions, agentic AI workflows, backend services, and cloud-based AI platforms.

The successful candidate will be involved throughout the full AI development lifecycle, from prototyping and evaluation to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions using modern Generative AI technologies.

Build RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agentic AI applications from prototype to production.

Develop backend services and REST APIs using Python, FastAPI, and cloud-native technologies.

Create and optimize retrieval pipelines, including document ingestion, embeddings, indexing, retrieval, and evaluation.

Implement AI evaluation frameworks, observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.

Develop and maintain AI and data pipelines using Databricks.

Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft Azure services and enterprise applications.

Apply security, authentication, authorization, and Responsible AI best practices.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Produce technical documentation and support production deployments.

Must-Have Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering.

Strong programming experience in Python.

Hands-on experience with Generative AI, RAG, or Agentic AI solutions.

Experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.

Experience developing REST APIs using FastAPI or similar technologies.

Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Experience with CI/CD, Git, containerization, and software engineering best practices.

Strong communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience working with Microsoft Azure and AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, and Azure AI Foundry.

Experience with Databricks and data processing pipelines.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with GraphRAG and Knowledge Graphs.

Experience with graph databases, ontologies, or semantic retrieval.

C#/.NET development experience.

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

Experience with AWS cloud services.

Microsoft Azure AI certifications.

Experience implementing AI guardrails, observability, and governance frameworks.
