About the opportunity
Netcom Training’s government-funded IT Support course is your shortcut to breaking into IT and launching a career in tech. Learn the essentials (hardware, networks, cloud computing, troubleshooting and more) in an interactive online format and earn a globally recognised CompTIA Tech+ certification.
Course details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Format: Online, practical workshops
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday 6-9pm
What you’ll learn
- Applying cloud security and disaster recovery methods
- Understanding IT systems, legislation and business operations
- Configuring and integrating desktop and mobile devices
- Setting up and maintaining secure networks
Potential Roles & Salaries:
- IT Systems Administrator: £25,000 – £35,000
- Technical Support Technician: £23,000 – £27,000
- Entry Level IT Technician: £22,000 – £25,000
- Helpdesk Analyst: £18,000 – £25,000

To be eligible, you must:
- Live in the West Midlands
- Be aged 19 or over
- Earn below the gross annual wage cap of £34,194.
- Not currently be undertaking any other government-funded training
- Not be in the UK on a student, graduate, postgraduate or sponsorship visa, or as a dependent of someone who is
