Vertex Elite is currently seeking a qualified Python Developer to join our team.

Job Type : Contract W2 position with Vertex Elite LLC(no sponsorship available)

Location : Edison, New Jersey


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in IT.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and backend services using Python.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into reliable software solutions.
  • Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented Python code.
  • Integrate applications with databases, third-party APIs, cloud services, and external systems.
  • Design and optimize SQL queries and work with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop automated unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure application quality.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established coding, security, and development standards.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, business analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support automated application deployments.
  • Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud as required.
  • Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies.
  • Implement appropriate security, authentication, authorization, logging, and error-handling practices.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.
  • Prepare technical documentation, API documentation, and deployment/support procedures.
  • Stay current with Python ecosystem developments, frameworks, libraries, and software engineering best practices.
