Job Title: Senior Developer

Location: Geelong –Hybrid 3 days office attendance per week is required.

Work type: Full time

Ideal Start Date: ASAP

Assignment duration: Until 07/09/2027


This role is intended for the Front-end developer to design, test and integrate technical upgrades of the client website as part of the Customer Experience Project . This role will sit in the digital operations team to ensure the public facing website is maintained and enhanced as per business requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Takes technical responsibility across all stages and iterations of software development. Plans and drives software construction activities. Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors complex programs/scripts and integration software services. Measures and monitors applications of project/team standards for software construction, including software security. Applies agreed standards and tools to achieve well-engineered outcomes. Contributes to the development of organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for software development.


Qualifications

  1. Essential Skills and Experience
  2. Significant experience leading Website development in complex enterprise environments.
  3. Digital Front end development using Node.js /Vue.js/Nuxt.js
  4. Advanced knowledge of Headless architecture , NPM, HTML/CSS/SCSS
  5. Exposure to Backend development in Acquia/Drupal/Apache Solr/JSON API/Drush/Composer
  6. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Source Control Management and Deployments.
  7. Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  8. Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant industry experience. ITIL v4, Agile, Scrum or DevOps qualifications desirable.
