Python Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, backend development, REST APIs, databases, and cloud technologies, with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Design and optimize database queries using PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Perform code reviews and follow development best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams.
• Implement unit and integration testing using PyTest or unittest.
• Work with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
• Hands-on experience with Django / Flask / FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, and microservices.
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and preferably NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git and software development lifecycle.
• Good understanding of unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD.
• Exposure to AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Celery, Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience developing event-driven or distributed systems.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to AI/ML integrations or data-processing pipelines.
