Team Lead - Full Stack Engineering

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead - Full Stack Engineering to lead the design, development, and delivery of our web and mobile applications. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with people leadership, requiring you to mentor developers, drive engineering excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-quality, scalable products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Full Stack Engineers in designing, developing, and deploying scalable web and mobile applications.
• Architect and develop robust frontend applications using React and React Native.
• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using Python (Django/FastAPI).
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive project execution from planning to deployment.
• Mentor, coach, and support team members through regular code reviews, technical guidance, and performance feedback.
• Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
• Drive application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, release management, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and lead root-cause analysis for production incidents.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Contribute to sprint planning, effort estimation, technical documentation, and engineering roadmaps.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in React and React Native for modern web and cross-platform mobile application development.
• Extensive experience in Python, with strong proficiency in Django or FastAPI.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integrations.
• Experience with HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive UI development.
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Familiarity with Docker, containerization, and modern deployment practices is preferred.
• Understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and secure coding practices.

Leadership Requirements

• Proven experience leading or mentoring software development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5-8 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring engineering teams.
• Demonstrated experience delivering scalable web and mobile applications in production.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence and business priorities.
