Location: Hartford, CT

Work Model: Hybrid 1 Day/Week Onsite

Local candidates preferred. Non-local candidates must be willing to relocate to Connecticut before onsite work begins.

Role Overview

Seeking a highly experienced QA Test Analyst with 12+ years of QA experience and strong expertise in Manual & Automation Testing.

The candidate must have professional working proficiency in English and Spanish and will be responsible for validating Spanish-language application functionality, content, correspondence, notices, workflows, and resident-facing communications.

Must-Have Skills

12+ years of QA / Software Testing experience

Strong Manual + Automation Testing

Spanish & English bilingual proficiency MUST

Selenium, TestNG, Java

REST API / SOAP Web Services

Postman

SQL / Backend Data Validation

Jira

Agile/Scrum & SDLC

Functional, Regression, Integration, SIT, UAT & E2E Testing

Test Case Development & Defect Management

RTM, Test Planning & Test Strategy

Strong experience with enterprise applications

Key Responsibilities

Perform hands-on manual and automated testing across enterprise applications.

Validate Spanish-language functionality and resident-facing content.

Compare Spanish content against approved English requirements.

Test Spanish screens, forms, notices, messages, labels, instructions, and workflows.

Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and automation scripts.

Perform API, database, integration, regression, SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing.

Validate backend data using SQL.

Identify, document, prioritize, and retest software defects.

Participate in defect triage, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.

Maintain requirements traceability and testing documentation.

Collaborate with developers, BAs, architects, project managers, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

Spanish / multilingual / localization testing

Connecticut DSS or State Government projects

Medicaid / Medicare / HHS

Integrated Eligibility Systems

Salesforce testing

Healthcare / Human Services applications

Eligibility & Benefits Management Systems

Policy-driven enterprise applications
