Job Purpose

Manage and support enterprise application platforms, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and successful implementation of business applications across on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support enterprise application platforms, including Java, .NET, and containerized applications.
  • Manage Linux-based application servers and OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms to ensure service availability and performance.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to deliver application platform implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Support enterprise databases including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Implement platform patching, security hardening, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using DevOps tools.
  • Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in system architecture reviews, platform enhancements, and technology evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.

Experience

  • 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise application platforms, Linux infrastructure, container platforms, and cloud environments, with hands-on experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes, enterprise application deployment, and production support.
