Software Engineer – Applied AI

We are looking for an experienced Applied AI Engineer to build practical software solutions, internal applications and AI-enabled workflows. The role combines strong hands-on Python development with system design and modern AI technologies, with a focus on building reliable, maintainable and production-quality solutions. We are looking for a strong software engineer who is interested in applying and further developing their GenAI expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain production-quality Python applications, APIs, services and internal tools.
• Design and implement practical solutions for automation, AI-enabled workflows and internal applications.
• Apply strong system design and software engineering principles to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Work with LLM-based applications, AI agents, orchestration and other emerging GenAI technologies.
• Prototype, iterate and deliver solutions based on loosely defined business and technical requirements.
• Integrate APIs, data sources and enterprise systems into practical software solutions.
• Use AI-powered development tools to accelerate development while maintaining ownership of code quality, architecture, security and maintainability.
• Debug, test, refactor and improve software throughout its lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 6–7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
• Solid experience with system design and software architecture.
• Experience building and supporting production-grade software.
• Strong backend engineering experience, with a good understanding of APIs, services, databases and data-access patterns.
• Experience working with loosely defined requirements and turning them into practical technical solutions.
• Genuine interest in GenAI and modern AI technologies.

Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLM-based applications or AI agents.
• Experience with AI orchestration or agentic workflows.
• Experience with RAG, MCP or similar emerging AI technologies.
• Platform engineering experience.
• Experience with Spark or other distributed data processing technologies.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude, Codex, GitHub Copilot or similar tools.
• React experience.
