Software Engineer

Position Overview

The Software Developer will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of internal applications and technology platforms within a financial services environment. The role will work across software development, system integrations, DevOps, and application support while partnering with technology leadership and business users.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building web applications and APIs using Python, FastAPI, and Django.
• Experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker, GitHub, and sprint/task management.
• Experience using AI-enabled development tools and modern engineering practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance internal applications, APIs, and software components.
• Build integrations between internal platforms and third-party systems.
• Test, debug, troubleshoot, and improve application performance.
• Support database development, cloud deployments, containerized applications, and release processes.
• Apply secure coding and software development best practices.
• Maintain technical and deployment documentation.
• Partner with business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Contribute to improvements in development workflows, tools, and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure or AWS.
• Financial services experience, particularly fixed income, ABS, or ABF.
