We are looking for a Senior (or strong Mid-to-Senior) Backend Engineer to own core platform services in a fast-moving logistics environment. You will design and maintain the backend systems that power our delivery operations — and you will do it AI-first. Using Claude Code (and similar agentic tools) is not a "nice to have" here; it is how we build. This role reports into engineering and collaborates closely with product and business stakeholders.

Non-negotiable:

You are expected to work in an AI-assisted way day to day. We're a fast-moving team, agentic tools are our default workflow, and we expect that to translate directly into delivery speed.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in PHP (Yii2 and/or Laravel) for a high-throughput logistics platform.
• Build effective prompts, context, and AI-assisted workflows that measurably improve delivery speed and code quality across the backend team.
• Review product requirements and feature proposals to identify missing pieces, inconsistencies, edge cases, and technical risks before implementation.
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code with a focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability.
• Support the adoption of AI-assisted development practices across the team through knowledge sharing.

• 5+ years of professional backend engineering experience (Mid-to-Senior candidates with exceptional depth also considered).
• Strong, hands-on PHP expertise with Yii2 and/or Laravel in production.
• Solid fundamentals in software architecture, API design, data modeling, and system design.
• Strong prompting skills: structuring context, chaining prompts, and getting consistent, high-quality output from AI models.
• Ability to think beyond the code — you understand why features exist and can assess whether requirements are complete before building.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience in logistics, delivery, or supply chain domains.
• Exposure to product ownership or technical product management.
• Experience building or integrating AI/ML features into production systems.
• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design principles.
• Refactoring legacy code in scale is a plus
