This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to take ownership of digital products that directly support patients, healthcare providers, and internal operational teams. You’ll work at the intersection of healthcare, technology, UX/UI, and product strategy, shaping digital experiences that make complex healthcare journeys clearer, simpler, and easier to navigate.
Our client is an innovative healthcare diagnostics company focused on improving pregnancy outcomes through clinically validated testing and technology. Its science is brought to patients and providers through digital experiences including provider portals, ordering tools, patient engagement platforms, and internal support systems. The Product Manager will play a key role in defining and delivering these experiences while partnering closely with design, engineering, clinical, commercial, and operational stakeholders.
Company Description
Our client is a healthcare diagnostics company developing innovative solutions designed to help identify pregnancy risks earlier and enable more informed care. Alongside its diagnostic offering, the company provides a growing ecosystem of digital products through which patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams interact with its services.
The business is committed to creating digital experiences that are intuitive, accessible, and genuinely useful. This includes external-facing patient and provider platforms as well as internal tools supporting Customer Support and Commercial Operations.
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Product Manager – Digital Products and Experiences to own and continuously improve the digital products used by patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams.
You will own product roadmaps and work closely with UX/UI designers and engineers to translate user needs into clear, high-quality digital experiences. You’ll develop a deep understanding of patient, provider, and internal user journeys through research, data, feedback, and satisfaction metrics, using those insights to determine what should be built and improved.
The role requires a strong combination of product strategy, user-centred thinking, analytical decision-making, stakeholder management, and hands-on delivery. You’ll also work within the requirements of a regulated healthcare environment, ensuring digital products meet relevant security, privacy, quality, and compliance expectations.
Responsibilities – What you’ll be doing:
- Act as a thought partner to the Director of Digital Products on the strategy and roadmap for external-facing digital products and internal support tools, while taking ownership of end-to-end delivery.
- Own the experience and quality of patient- and provider-facing digital products, ensuring they meet user needs and provide intuitive, accessible experiences.
- Own the roadmap for internal digital tools used by Customer Support and Commercial Operations, with a particular focus on UX/UI quality, workflow efficiency, and ease of adoption.
- Build a deep understanding of patient, provider, and internal user needs through direct research, usage data, support feedback, and satisfaction metrics.
- Translate user and business insights into clearly prioritised product improvements.
- Partner closely with UX/UI designers to define user flows, wireframes, and interface designs and create consistent, high-quality experiences.
- Gather and assess requirements from patients, providers, Customer Support, Commercial Operations, Marketing, and clinical stakeholders.
- Prioritise initiatives using a structured and data-driven approach, balancing user impact, business value, effort, and risk while securing stakeholder buy-in.
- Define functional requirements and acceptance criteria, working with designers and engineers to turn requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
- Partner with QA Engineers to plan and review software verification and validation processes.
- Document product decisions, user flows, and design rationale to improve organisational knowledge while supporting compliance and auditability.
- Ensure products and product changes meet applicable regulatory, security, privacy, and compliance requirements in partnership with QA and Regulatory teams.
- Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and partners to deliver and maintain patient- and provider-facing digital experiences.
Requirements – What we’re looking for:
We think the right candidate will tick most of the following boxes:
- 5–7 years of product management experience, including significant experience managing consumer-facing or provider-facing digital products.
- A demonstrated track record of successfully shipping and improving digital products, with a strong emphasis on UX/UI quality and usability, rather than technical functionality alone.
- Proven ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive projects forward while quickly becoming comfortable with unfamiliar problems and user groups.
- Strong user-centred product thinking, including experience conducting in-depth interviews and customer research.
- Experience analysing end-to-end patient, provider, customer, or internal user journeys and redesigning experiences to reduce friction and confusion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex or ambiguous challenges into clear frameworks and prioritised plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain product and design concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Confidence collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including designers, engineers, executives, operational teams, and clinical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills – Nice to have:
- Experience working with patient portals, provider portals, or other healthcare consumer-facing digital products.
- Experience with custom-built React and Node.js applications.
- Experience with products and digital experiences built within Salesforce, including Experience Cloud, Apex, Flows, and Canvas.
- Proficiency with SQL, or confidence working directly with data to inform product decisions.
- Previous experience in healthcare, diagnostics, or another regulated environment, with exposure to frameworks or requirements such as HIPAA, FDA, or CLIA.
- Experience owning or improving internal tools used by Customer Support or Commercial Operations teams.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, remote position.
What we offer:
- Own meaningful digital products that directly influence patient and healthcare-provider experiences.
- Work closely with experienced professionals across product, UX/UI, engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, customer support, and commercial functions.
- Take significant ownership of product roadmaps and end-to-end delivery.
- Work on complex, purpose-driven digital products within an innovative healthcare environment.
- Develop experience across customer-facing and internal digital products in a regulated industry.
