We're partnering with a fast-growing financial technology firm that powers the alternative investment and wealth management marketplace for advisors, wealth managers, asset managers, and banks. The role blends finance, data, and tech. You'll own the reporting/portfolio data behind high-net-worth client relationships, configure the platforms that support them, and act as a go-to resource for clients and partners. It suits a hands-on analyst who likes solving data problems and working directly with clients.
Location: Greenwich, CT (4 days/week onsite)
Compensation: $70,000 to $85,000
What You'll Do
- Analyze, validate, and explain portfolio performance results for wealth management and family office clients
- Perform account-level reconciliations, researching and resolving breaks, cancels, and corrects
- Review private equity and hedge fund statements and translate the data into the reporting platform
- Configure and maintain wealth reporting systems: new clients, accounts, assets, and security classifications
- Manage and monitor data feeds from custodians and other sources, and work with clients and vendor partners to resolve data issues
- Build custom reports tailored to client-specific needs
- Support client onboarding, account setup, training, and day-to-day issue management
- Partner with vendors on system enhancements and data fixes
- Help build and refine procedures and controls that make the team more efficient
- Prioritize work across a collaborative team and get ahead of client and company needs
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in performance or reporting analysis, data or financial analysis, middle office or operations, fund administration, client service, or implementations within financial services
- Hands-on experience with Addepar, Black Diamond, or Orion, or a comparable platform (Axys, APX, Archway, Solovis, Masttro)
- Performance reporting experience and a solid grasp of performance calculation methodologies
- Strong understanding of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, SMAs/UMAs, and alternative investments
- Advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint skills
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn new software quickly
- Client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex data clearly in writing and in conversation
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree
Preferred
- SQL, Python, Power BI, or other data and analysis tools
- Background at a fund administrator, custodian, prime broker, bank, RIA, asset manager, or wealth-tech/fintech firm
- Experience with wirehouses or custodians
- Familiarity with RIA and wealth management policies, procedures, and client service models
- Understanding of how family offices, RIAs, and investment advisors operate, including portfolio management and rebalancing
- Exposure to planning tools such as eMoney or MoneyGuidePro
- Basic database concepts, and familiarity with HTML or design tools
