About The Role

The role owns the content engine for a well-funded technology company: strategy, production, and distribution of content that drives organic traffic, demand generation, and brand authority. This spans SEO-driven blog content, technical explainers, whitepapers, case studies, and product marketing assets.

You will work closely with product marketing, demand-gen, SEO, and sales to translate complex technical positioning into content that ranks, converts, and shortens sales cycles. The role reports to marketing leadership and directly influences pipeline and organic growth metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a content strategy mapped to the buyer journey, keyword opportunities, and pipeline goals
  • Own the editorial calendar: manage writers, freelancers, and internal SMEs to ship blog posts, whitepapers, ebooks, and case studies on schedule
  • Partner with SEO to build topic clusters, optimize on-page content, and grow organic traffic and rankings in a competitive B2B/B2C tech category
  • Write and edit high-performing assets directly: landing pages, product explainers, email sequences, and sales enablement content
  • Repurpose content across channels — LinkedIn, webinars, video scripts, paid campaigns — to maximize distribution and ROI
  • Measure content performance using GA4, HubSpot, and attribution tools; report on organic traffic, MQLs, and content-sourced pipeline
  • Collaborate with product and engineering SMEs to translate technical concepts (APIs, cloud infrastructure, developer tooling) into accessible content

What We Are Looking For

  • 4-7 years of content marketing experience in B2B or B2C technology, with a portfolio of content tied to measurable traffic or pipeline results
  • Strong SEO fundamentals: keyword research, on-page optimization, and familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, or Clearscope
  • Excellent writing and editing skills; able to simplify technical topics without losing accuracy
  • Hands-on with HubSpot, Marketo, or a comparable marketing automation platform, plus GA4 and Search Console
  • Experience managing freelance writers, agencies, and cross-functional review cycles
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or equivalent practical experience
  • Bonus: experience with developer/technical audiences, content ops tooling (Notion, Airtable), or video/webinar production
