Editorial Manager — SIGNAL WEEK
Indexed description
About Chain of Events
We build the events where the people shaping technology actually meet. Chain of Events runs three of them, all in Paris, all within the same week.
- Signal Week is the institutional summit for digital assets. Founded in 2019 as Paris Blockchain Week and elevated to Signal Week in 2026, it draws 10,000+ attendees from 100+ countries, with roughly 70% holding C-suite positions. Its last edition convened 250+ banks and financial institutions, over $50T in assets under management, and 70 government officials and regulators — BlackRock, J.P. Morgan, Deutsche Bank, Fidelity, BNY Mellon, Citi, the London Stock Exchange, ESMA and the European Commission among them. The thesis is that TradFi and digital assets are no longer two industries but one financial system being rebuilt on shared rails.
- MACHINA Summit is Europe's leading event dedicated to Physical AI — intelligence that acts on the real world through humanoids, industrial robotics, autonomous systems and next-generation human–machine interfaces. Its inaugural 2026 edition brought together the labs building humanoids and the enterprises deploying robotics at scale, with speakers from Google DeepMind, Boston Dynamics, NVIDIA, 1X, Apptronik and Agility Robotics. It is the fastest-moving brand in the portfolio and the one with the most white space ahead of it.
- RAISE Summit is the AI summit for decision-makers. Launched in 2024, it has grown from 2,000 to 9,000+ attendees across three editions — over 80% of them C-level, from 76 countries — with 350+ speakers spanning AI infrastructure, enterprise adoption, agentic systems, sovereignty and policy. The 2026 edition at the Carrousel du Louvre featured Mark Cuban, Yann LeCun and Nelson Griggs (Nasdaq). The week extends well beyond the main stage: the Versailles AI Gala at the Orangerie of the Château de Versailles, the RAISE Hackathon, and RAISE the STAKES, the startup competition that drew 1,100+ applications in 2026.
In July 2026, all three were acquired by Hyve Group, the global B2B events organiser behind Fintech Meetup, HLTH and Shoptalk. In 2027 they converge on the Palais des Congrès in the same week.
About the role
We are looking for a Conference Manager who has a real perspective on the digital assets industry — and who wants to help curate the conversations that define the industry's direction.
This is not a support role. You will be expected to have opinions on topics, identify the right voices, and help shape conversations that matter. You will work closely with the Co-founders and the Head of Content on the full editorial cycle — from early-stage programme conception through to live event delivery.
You report to the Head of Content — RAISE Summit, and collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Customer success teams across the CoE organisation.
What you will do
Programme Strategy & Editorial Conception
- Contribute to the editorial vision of Signal Week programme: identifying key themes, open questions, and narrative arcs that will resonate with a senior audience.
- Research and map the digital assets ecosystem — Programmable Finance, Regulation & Compliance, tokenisation, institutional adoption, stablecoin — to surface compelling, timely topics and underexplored angles.
- Propose and structure sessions, panels, and formats that generate real intellectual value, not just brand visibility.
Speaker Research & Outreach
- Build targeted lists of high-calibre speakers: executives from financial institutions, regulators, protocol founders, investors, researchers, and policy experts.
- Write and send personalised outreach to prospective speakers; manage the relationship through to confirmation and preparation.
- Brief confirmed speakers ahead of their sessions to ensure they are aligned with the session's intent and the event's overall narrative.
Content Production & Coordination
- Draft session descriptions and programme copy that communicate the sophistication and ambition of Signal Week.
- Work with the Marketing team to translate editorial content into compelling promotional materials.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to integrate sponsored speaking slots without compromising editorial standards.
On-site Event Delivery
- Provide on-site support to speakers: briefings, backstage coordination, and smooth panel delivery.
- Assist in orchestrating the live agenda and managing last-minute changes with composure..
Required Skills & Experience
Required
- Native or full professional fluency in English (French is a plus; other languages welcome).
- Currently enrolled in a Master's programme in finance, economics, journalism, political science, international affairs, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- Genuine, demonstrable knowledge / expertise in blockchain, digital assets, or the intersection of finance and technology: you follow the space and can engage meaningfully with it.
- Strong research and writing skills — you can distil a complex topic into a sharp, focused session proposal.
- Comfortable engaging with senior professionals, including C-level executives, institutional investors, and regulators.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal Profile
- Previous experience in editorial, content strategy, journalism, or events (internship or otherwise).
- Familiarity with the digital assets landscape: key protocols, market structure, regulatory frameworks (MiCA, etc.), and institutional dynamics.
- An editorial instinct — the ability to distinguish between a topic that is trending and one that is genuinely worth debating.
- The interpersonal confidence to reach out to a CIO, a DeFi founder, and a central banker in the same week — and make each feel the conversation is worth their time.
What we offer
- Real editorial ownership — your research and outreach will directly shape Signal Week's programme, not just support it.
- Access to 8,000+ of the world's most influential voices in finance, blockchain, and digital assets.
- A fast-paced, multicultural, and entrepreneurial environment where curiosity and initiative are genuinely valued.
- Direct exposure to the leaders and debates shaping the future of money, markets, and digital infrastructure.
- An experience that positions you at the frontier of one of the most consequential industry shifts of our time.
- Full access to a premium AI toolset, with the budget to keep adding to it.
- Lunch vouchers and 100% imagin'R reimbursement.
