Social Media & Marketing Manager


JEM Capital is seeking a creative, highly motivated, and digitally savvy Social Media Manager to lead the day-to-day execution of our social media presence across a growing portfolio of locally recognized hospitality and entertainment brands. Our businesses include Dune Dog Café, a beloved Florida dining destination that has served signature hot dogs, fresh seafood, and laid-back tropical experiences since 1994 with locations in Jupiter, Stuart and opening a new venue on I-Drive in Orlando this November; Lighthouse Cove Adventure Golf, a family-friendly miniature golf and entertainment concept with locations in Jupiter, Abacoa, and Cocoa Beach; and The Burger Shack, an open-air restaurant near Jupiter Beach known for specialty burgers, upscale comfort food, craft beverages, and indulgent milkshakes. Together, these brands offer a diverse mix of dining, entertainment, events, and community experiences, creating countless opportunities for engaging and original social storytelling.


This individual will be responsible for bringing each brand’s unique personality to life through compelling content, growing and engaging our online communities, increasing brand awareness, and maintaining a consistent yet distinctive voice across all social platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong creative instincts with a strategic, data-driven approach and has a deep understanding of social media trends, platform best practices, and audience engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy and Management

  • Develop and execute JEM Partners’ social media strategy in alignment with broader brand and business objectives.
  • Manage the company’s day-to-day presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive social media content calendar.
  • Ensure all published content reflects the company’s brand voice, visual identity, and messaging standards.
  • Monitor platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging opportunities to keep the brand relevant and competitive.

Content Creation and Storytelling

  • Plan, create, edit, and publish compelling social content, including photography, short-form video, graphics, captions, and stories.
  • Develop content that showcases JEM Partners’ brands, people, culture, partnerships, and key initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external creative partners to produce timely, engaging, and platform-specific content.
  • Capture content at company events, brand activations, openings, and other key moments as needed.
  • Maintain an organized library of approved creative assets and social media content.

Community Management

  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions, reviews, and online conversations across social platforms.
  • Engage with followers in a timely, professional, and brand-appropriate manner.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen relationships with customers, partners, creators, and community members.
  • Escalate sensitive questions, complaints, or reputational concerns to the appropriate internal stakeholders.

Influencer and Creator Partnerships

  • Identify and develop relationships with relevant influencers, content creators, and local tastemakers.
  • Coordinate influencer campaigns from initial outreach and negotiation through content approval, publishing, and performance reporting.
  • Ensure creator partnerships align with brand standards, campaign goals, and target audiences.
  • Maintain organized records of influencer relationships, agreements, deliverables, content rights, and campaign results.

Campaigns, Events, and Brand Collaborations

  • Support social media coverage for brand campaigns, partnerships, events, product launches, and other company initiatives.
  • Develop social-first concepts that generate awareness, engagement, and audience participation.
  • Coordinate content schedules and deliverables with internal teams, agency partners, influencers, and vendors.
  • Help create memorable online and in-person brand moments that encourage organic social amplification.

Measurement and Optimization

  • Track and report on key performance indicators, including audience growth, reach, impressions, engagement, website traffic, conversions, and campaign performance.
  • Use platform analytics and audience insights to continuously improve content and channel strategies.
  • Prepare regular performance reports with clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify high-performing content and opportunities to repurpose or amplify it across additional channels.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, or a related field preferred.
  • Four or more years of professional experience managing social media for a company, agency, consumer brand, or multi-brand organization.
  • Demonstrated success growing social media audiences and developing engaging, results-oriented content.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging social platforms.
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video, photography, graphics, and written social content.
  • Working knowledge of social media management, scheduling, analytics, and content-creation tools.
  • Experience coordinating influencer or creator partnerships is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of content trends, digital culture, and online community building.
  • Excellent writing, editing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
  • Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use performance data and audience insights to guide content decisions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends and travel within the United States for events, activations, and content needs.
