Position Overview

The Corporate eCommerce Manager is responsible for driving online revenue performance across the hotel portfolio by optimizing digital channels, managing brand and third-party channels, and executing e-commerce and social media strategies that maximize visibility, conversion, and profitability.

This role combines eCommerce expertise with revenue strategy to drive direct bookings, optimize revenue, strengthen brand awareness, and elevate engagement across all online channels.

Working closely with marketing, revenue management, and property teams, the manager ensures each hotel’s digital ecosystem—websites, OTAs, and social platforms—performs at its highest potential through data-driven strategy, creative content, and consistent execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement eCommerce strategies to grow direct revenue, reduce OTA dependency, and improve digital ROI for the portfolio and each property.
  • Align digital campaigns and website initiatives with revenue management strategies and demand trends.
  • Audit hotel websites regularly to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and SEO best practices.
  • Optimize conversion funnels, landing pages, and booking engine performance.
  • Partner with brand and third-party digital teams to execute promotions, packages, landing pages, and offers that drive traffic and bookings.
  • Oversee OTA presence, content, and relationships across major platforms (Expedia, Booking.com, Tripadvisor, etc.), ensuring rate parity, brand consistency, competitiveness, content updates, promotional opportunities, and cost-effective distribution.
  • Monitor industry trends and identify emerging online tools, partners, and technologies to support new rollouts, enhance performance and maintain a competitive digital edge.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for digital content, rate parity, and online merchandising across all hotels.
  • Partner with brand and digital agencies and internal marketing teams on paid media, SEO, and email campaigns to drive qualified traffic.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key digital performance metrics (traffic, conversion, ROI, channel mix) using analytics tools (Google Analytics, hotel CRM, brand dashboards), delivering actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Recommend digital initiatives to increase direct booking share and optimize digital marketing spend.
  • Develop and oversee the social media strategy for the hotel portfolio, aligning with brand voice, seasonal campaigns, and company objectives.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in hotel e-commerce, digital marketing, or online distribution (Marriott and Hilton multi-property experience preferred).
  • Experience with hotel CRS, PMS, channel managers, and OTA extranets (Marriott, Hilton, TravelClick, Sabre, Kodi, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and online conversion strategies.
  • Proven success managing eCommerce performance for multiple hotels and brands.

Skills

  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficient in content management systems, booking engines, and digital advertising platforms.
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with a passion for hospitality and technology.

Performance Metrics

  • Growth in direct booking revenue and conversion rates
  • Improvement in digital channel mix and ROI on paid media
